Certified offender: Maryam advises Imran not to discuss the Constitution.
‘Certified violator’: Maryam warns Imran against commenting on Constitution:
According to senior vice president Maryam Nawaz of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the state and institutions cannot respond to the whims of "terrorists and fitna [mischief] like him," referring to the deposed prime minister Imran Khan.
Her statement came after the PTI chairman reportedly stated that "it makes no difference, whether a larger or full bench conducts hearing" in response to the ruling coalition's request for a full Supreme Court bench to hear the Punjab elections delay case.
She wrote on her official Twitter handle, referring to the PTI chief, "Taking a name of a sacred object like Constitution by the "certified violator of constitution" in the history of Pakistan is a disgusting joke."
In the meantime, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq stated that the new law has been approved by parliament and that the court is now obligated to adhere to it when speaking about controversial legislation that seeks to limit the chief justice of Pakistan's authority.
"A full court hearing is the only solution to the current crisis. On Twitter, he wrote, "The matter will begin at the point where it was sabotaged."
